In RAMÓN & CAJAL we have a team with full expertise in assisting in all related to the activities of the public authorities. A specific practise group is dedicated to legal counsel and acting in any proceedings concerning constitutional law, administrative law and EU law.
In this area, the Firm provides full-line legal advice and assistance in financing and structuring of infrastructures, infrastructure management and its impact in the national accountancy, assistance and representation before public authorities, licensing and authorization procedures, legal risk assessment, government taking of property procedures, administrative and court proceedings, including sanctioning procedures. Furthermore, RAMÓN & CAJAL provides legal advice to public sector and private companies with regard to any proceedings, execution and issues deriving from public contracting, government works agreements, service contracts, supplies or public works and domain concessions and administrative licenses and authorizations.
As part of our work in this area, we regularly advice the Government on the drafting of bills, rules and regulations and regular advice to a number of government agencies. Among the latter, it could be emphasized our practise in advising and defending public sector companies, specially in the sectors of telecommunications, water, transport, medicine, infrastructures and public services.
