RAMÓN & CAJAL has substantial experience in the areas of competition, unfair competition and regulation, including both general trade regulation and sectorial regulation.
As far as competition law is concerned, we have a team of professionals with an extensive experience in providing advice to businesses on the impact of Spanish and UE competition law on their activities, contractual relationships with other businesses, mergers and acquisitions, including setting-up compliance programs, filing of mergers or concentration notifications, restrictive agreements, market abuse and state aid and representation in Spanish and UE sanctioning administrative and court procedures.
In addition we also have significant experience in the area of unfair competition law where we develop a pioneering practice as well as in trade regulation of marketing practices, retailing and advertising.
Moreover, RAMÓN & CAJAL has a particular concentration in advising companies in regulated sectors, in particular, the already mentioned banking, insurance and capital markets as well as telecommunications, energy, transportation and infrastructures.
